SCRATCHING ROLLER

The rotating double blades penetrate the soil and remove thatch, moss, and weeds, including their roots. These are collected in the grass catcher or raked up later. This process intensively loosens the lawn and revitalizes it. The roots receive more oxygen. The high-quality carbon steel roller blade ensures particularly thorough results.

Aerator roller

The electric lawn aerator works particularly gently. It combs the lawn and removes moss and loose leaves from between the grass blades. Fine holes are drilled into the soil to loosen it – without damaging the roots. This allows the lawn to breathe again and absorb nutrients and water more effectively.

The rollers can be changed quickly and easily:

When to scarify or aerate?

The lawn should not be scarified more than twice a year – ideally in spring and autumn. Lawn aeration, on the other hand, can be done regularly from spring to autumn, as long as there is no frost. The optimal time for aeration is right before fertilizing. Important: The soil should be neither too dry nor too wet.

Easily adjustable to suit individual needs

The aeration strength can be easily and flexibly adjusted. With three adjustable depth settings, the device adapts to different soil conditions. Scarifying is possible at depths of 4 mm to 12 mm, and aeration at depths of 6 mm to 16 mm.

TIP

Don't scarify too deeply. 5 mm is usually sufficient. For heavily thatched lawns, up to 1 cm is acceptable.
Cutting down to the soil damages the lawn roots. Also, make sure to cut the grass to 2–4 cm beforehand.

No more tedious picking up thanks to the collection basket

As the rollers rotate, weeds, moss, and thatch are loosened and flung directly into the included collection basket (also called a grass catcher bag). This has a capacity of up to 28 liters and allows for quick disposal of the grass clippings. This saves you time and a lot of raking.
