A characterful red wine with elegance

The Rosso Icario 2016 displays a bright ruby ​​red color with fine purple reflections and impresses with its clear, elegant structure. On the palate, the aromas of red fruits unfold in a harmonious combination of freshness, complexity, and balanced richness – a wine with moderate, pleasant persistence.

Careful vinification for the highest enjoyment

Fermentation and maceration take place over 15–20 days in stainless steel tanks at 25–30°C. This is followed by racking and malolactic fermentation at 18–20°C. Aging occurs in traditional 3,500-liter oak barrels, where the wine matures for ten months. After bottling, it rests for a further four months in the bottle before being ready to drink.

A versatile companion for many occasions

With its well-balanced combination of flavor and freshness, Rosso Icario is perfect for everyday meals and special occasions. Grape varieties: 60% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Alcohol content: 14.0% vol. Optimal serving temperature: 16–18°C. Contains sulfites.
