A new way to enjoy wine

The Icario winery is located in Montepulciano, Tuscany, on the border with Umbria. This is a corner of the world that has preserved its authenticity, unspoiled beauty. Instead of large factories, there are artisan workshops, small shops, and a culture of hospitality.

Icario is among the leading producers of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The history of the company, founded in 1999, is marked by the family's passion for winemaking and their pursuit of quality, as well as a love of art, design, and careful stewardship of the land.

The grapes from each parcel are fermented separately to preserve their individual characteristics, which are further enhanced by subsequent aging in oak barrels. Throughout all stages of production, business decisions are guided by a focus on maximum quality and respect for the natural environment. Currently, 22 hectares of vineyards are under cultivation at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level. The predominant grape variety is Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese).
